*leans in to kiss your cheek* my love, I'm home. You are wonderful for being able to wait. *wraps his arms around you and nuzzles his nose into your shoulder*
As he reclined back against the comfortable surface of the couch whilst one of his legs crossed underneath him as the other lazily dangling off the couch; he pressed his cheek against the palm of his hand, his delicate fingers wrapped neatly around the remote as his thumb lazily switched the channels yet again. However, his eyes were barely fixated on the screen; he paid it no mind even. His mind was actually too occupied with so many things; he couldn’t even describe what he was feeling inside, whether it was dull, or empty even?
It was a familiar, a very familiar and delicate voice which he didn’t really expect its arrival; yet the singer sensed a feeling of longing as it eventually rang in his ears. His eyes widened at the flash of a silhouette which was towering over him. The nightmares that haunted him for the past couple of weeks apparently have crept their way back onto his mind. He had been dreaming of holding this man that he knew all too well, the one that his warmth he longed for, yet he always woke up in their bed all alone. Was he dreaming again, this time?
It would probably make sense if the singer squealed in joy right at that moment, but rather he was far too overwhelmed by everything which made him froze right on his spot. Everything is easy to tumble off his lips for this man, but why was it so hard for him to do so? He wanted to tell the man before him that he needed him, or maybe he could just scold him just like what he used to for leaving himself for so long. But then again he felt like the pair of his plump lips was so stiff; it was so hard for him to even move them.
As the younger began to close the distance between them, and eventually envelope Jung Min into a warm yet a tight embrace; Jung Min could feel himself shook ever so slightly, the pair of lips that were pressed to his cheek felt all too real, it was so real and it was a proof that he must not be dreaming.
The voice that felt like a music to him reached his ears once again, each word stroke a syllable in his head. He closed his eyes, unable to suppress the tears that had been threatening to come out. He had missed the younger man so much that it was hard to explain in words. He was unable to restrain his arms to rise from the either sides of his frame and eventually circled them around the other man’s figure in an equally tight embrace. For a second he forgot how to breathe and clung to the younger man. He needed this desperately, he needed Hyung Jun.
His mind was thrown in pandemonium, torn apart among all the things he wanted to do right then and there. He wanted to tell the man before him how much he missed him, talking to him, feeling his warmth against him. Or he could just do that one thing that would convey all his feelings towards Hyung Jun, without having to put them in words. Unable to decide on what to do, Jung Min simply buried his face against the crook of Hyung Jun’s neck, inhaling his scent that he longed for as he relaxed in his embrace, holding onto him so tightly as if his life was so dependent on him.
“Idiot,” He breathed; whispering the only word that he could manage at that time, breaking the silence that was engulfing the two followed with a gentle smack that landed on Hyung Jun’s chest. He reluctantly pulled away, long enough to let his gaze glided over his as he brought his hand up in a swift motion to wipe anymore tears that threatening to run down his cheeks.
It felt all too familiar, it felt good to be with Hyung Jun; the only person he didn’t have to put a façade to, the one who knew himself well without the need to explain himself. As the corners of lips curved into a faint, yet a genuine smile; he closed the short distance between them, pressing his lips against the other awaiting ones.
