"I have an IQ of 130," I say as I karate chop towards my mother's head tangled in christmas lights. "I am one of the smartest of my species".
She sighs as she wonders how the fuck did I get to be the only one in the family to go to university.

my previous workplace has its offices in a big mysterious building. this building housed the biology faculty for the university for nearly a century. then it was left to its own devices for a couple of years; depressing, of course.
then, an art exhibition breathed life back into its arched hallways. currently, some places are offices, some are art studios. there is randomness. a piano in the main hallway. there is research being done on radioactive samples in the basement. (i know because i helped the old lady researcher take photos of the packed samples that she was gonna send to the uk in a barrel) sometimes there are lights and music from the basement; a rave. some rooms have been taken over by the art academy. there is also a tiny museum.
it is a little decrepit, but there is grace under the peeling paint. and life of such variety inhabits it now, i think it is having the most exciting retirement.
Question - are computer science majors who are specializing in C programming laungages... C Majors?
Life is simple when you ignore the complicated parts!
I hate programmers
I'm tired of looping around endless problems/errors and switching my decisions about the if and else of life. But when I'm encapsulated with someone I love, I know I can debug them using the polymorphs of our love
- Roy Melad
I am a programmer. I have no life. The loop of my routine can sometimes kill me like a knife. I need the right person to debug the errors from my life. And when she breaks me from my loop, I'll surely make her my wife.
