okay so uh holy shit i passed the 200 mark on my follower count a little while ago, and i’m finally getting around to making this post about it. i’ve had this blog for what?? 5 weeks?? that’s fucking wild. i know a lot of it is mostly hype over the new movie, but i’m beyond grateful for all of you anyway and i’m so happy that you’ve decided to stick around, even after i post something ridiculous. i’d really like to thank each of you individually, but that would take forever and frankly i’m lazy as shit. despite that, i do still want to personally acknowledge the individuals that stand out to me the most and have made this entire experience an enjoyable one. thank you. Favorite character: LuxCom - Like, I’m so real mad because this is actually a legitimately hard question to answer, cos obvi I wanna just go straight to Smooth but then it’s literally a 20 minute conversation with myself where I start weeping and looking for a pint of Ben and Jerrys to cry over because I am reminded that I’m actually trash garbage. But gun to my head, yeah, it’s forreal gonna be Smooth. Rude.  R&M - It’s Rick. It’s just so fucking very much Rick. I hate myself but goddammit, foxy grandpa tho.

Second favorite character: LuxCom - Dondylion. For reasons that even I wanna kick my own ass for being so creepy over. R&M - No but forreal it actually is Birdperson lmfao Like obvi I adore Morty but he’s kinda--not quite the same tier as Rick but it’s too close to call, so they’re grouped together, and Birdperson is just fucking fantastic

Least favorite character: LuxCom - I’m legitimately trying to think of someone I don’t like??? I guess the .04 seconds the Moon showed up?? Secret Peter took a minute to grow on me as well. R&M - Legit answer is Jerry tho, like he’s the only person I find it kinda hard to give a fuck about. I mean I still laugh and everything and I don’t hate him but like, it’s easier for me to kinda tune out sometimes when he’s on screen.

The character I’m most like: LuxCom - Oh god. Uh lmfao Noel doesn’t make characters that are just terrible fucking people anymore does he? Lmfao probably Secret Peter again. MAY OR MAY NOT BE WHY HE HAD TO GROW ON ME  R&M - Morty, weirdly enough?? Awkward, stuttering, angry, girl crazy--it’s literally me from age 14 to now lmfao

Favorite pairing: LuxCom - Smooth/Andy Literally not a joke at all. I suffer alone and without fic, please help me R&M: Yeah nah still c137cest, obvi from the state of my blog recently. Destroy me and my sinful ways.

Least favorite pairing: LuxCom - I sincerely do not have one. I just want everyone to bone everyone and be happily ever after, I wish I was kidding. I guess like. Probably Dolly/Fantasy Man? Cos he’s way too delicate and tender for her, she’d break him. Smol flower. Very precious. R&M: Beth/Jerry still stands. Their marriage is broken and awful and they shouldn’t be together in any way shape or form.

Favorite moment: LuxCom: The fourth wall breaks, and the fucking awful earworm bullshit voodoo magic Fielding and Pizzorno pull with the music, and anything with my husbando Dondy.  R&M - Every single goddamn example of Rick caring or like, slowly breaking down or anything that proves he’s just fucking acting because they both break my heart and make me love him more.

Dragon Age Storage Wars AU.

Maric is the owner of a fairly successful antique shop.

His grandfather was forced to sell the shop long before Maric was born, but for basically Maric’s whole life, his mother Moira has been trying to reclaim it (along with her business partner Rendorn), buying storage lockers filled with goods and using her know how to sell them for a profit.  

When she passed away, Maric and his late wife, Rowan, took over, hiring their friend Loghain as an employee. Loghain proved to have a far better head for business and storage locker buying than Maric did, and soon Loghain became a full partner. With Loghain’s help, they were able to, in less than six years, retake Moira’s father’s shop.

Now, after Rowan’s death, Maric and Loghain are back in the game, looking for units that can get the store back into the black. 

Maric tends to be very impulsive in buying units (and is usually pretty lucky.) Loghain is very much willing to listen to Maric’s gut feelings about things. 

Maric’s new girlfriend, Fiona, occasionally goes with Maric to the auctions and is a very aggressive buyer. 

Of the episodes of the show Maric, Loghain, and Fiona are in, the ones where Loghain and Fiona have to buy units together without Maric there to mediate between them are always the highest rated.

One thing I love about Rebels is the heavy usage of radio by the space family. Considering the entire era is influenced by WW2 (what, with the space Nazis in form of the Empire and the dogfights), I have no doubt they lifted it straight from life when the Allies relied heavily on radio to coordinate espionage and resistance in occupied countries.
