The past two weeks I’ve been reading books again, and not just obsessively about cults and trauma and how to deal with flashbacks and how to have good relationships with abusive parents and how not to be sad all the time, etc.

I’m just reading BOOKS. In the library app. A Jeanette Winterson autobiography, and Turtles All The Way Down by John Green, and a Dorothy Parker collection, and a book about how to graft trees, and a reread of Chaos by James Gleick which is one of my favorites, and paperback mystery books that my middle aged coworker gives me when she finishes them. Just books. Stories. And it feels really, really good. :)
