soft thought:

castiel sat by dean, the both of them watching some movie. dean had wanted to show cas the movie for quite a while, but they finally got a chance to watch it. if he was being honest, cas didnt know what was going on in the movie. something about trash and robots in love?? but dean seemed to be enjoying it, which was good enough for him. it was near the end of the movie when it happened. unbeknowest to cas, dean had fallen asleep. he only realized when dean's head fell onto his shoulder.

cas froze, slightly panicking. what should he do? he couldnt shake him off, god only knows how much dean needed his sleep. so, of course, he did the only thing he could think of.

ever so gently, he tilted his head, resting it lightly on dean's. cas didn't need to sleep, mind you, but as he sat there with dean, he dozed off, the sound of the movie the chorus of their slumber.

at some point in the night, someone saw the two and couldn't help but give them a blanket. the two smiled in their sleep, content with eachother.
