There are two options for this pattern design. Main design uses black floss with different strand count and stitching direction to imitate l
I made a pattern inspired by my dog. He’s very sweet and cuddly, his small monster moments are when we’re playing or he’s tired. So I thought it would be fun to make sort of a beware sign where he is vicious.
This is him getting annoyed that I’m not getting the ball stuck under the bed.
I was looking at antique design elements in scanned books, and I really liked the borders they had. The border here is a very simplified version of some that I saw in the book "Old English and French ornaments; comprising 244 Designs ... by Chippendale, I. Jones, Johnson, Lock, and Pether ... Collected and republished by J. W”.
There are two versions of the design, one with regular cross stitching and this one where I experimented to make it appear more like the engraved illustrations from old books. I added tips and clarifying instructions so that the chart isn’t confusing.
Proof of him being a perfect cutie.
