i want to personally thank #cockygate for teaching me so much about indie writing
#personal#specifically#what not to do#but also#i didnt realize how...#like...actually legitimately feasible it is to self publish thess days#and actually be taken seriously?#and make money?#(possibly)#like my mindset was still stuck in the dark ages#of if youre not traditionally published youre a failure#and i knew i would never be that#so i always thought my passion for writing was going to die unrealized#now i know that if i can#1) actually finish a story#and 2) overcome not only the fear but the learning curve for self publishing and all the work that entails#then i might#maybe#could possibly#be a writer
