there is an interesting (and kind of pointless ) hypothetical that ive heard of that goes like;; if there was an exact clone of you that maintained all of your memories and experiences and beliefs what would differantiate you from it?

and i honestly dont know how to answer that question which is technically what happened at the circus.

i say that it is pointless because the qustion basically asks how one can distinguish between two equals but yeah id still like to mention that.

the brains of the circus (aka our actual characters) could have been the originals or the copies. either way i dont kno how that would matter because the yearning and jealousy of the life their irl selves made remains.

but is it technically jealousy? can the human mind fully comprehend the existance of something that is exactly equal to it? (ykwhat i mean when i say equal btw )

in the characters position i wouldnt be able to brush away that thought and feeling of jealousy. i dont know.

whatever the case, this is obviously not negative critisism, i love shows that make me think of difficult things.

the general meaning of the show that Gooseworx quoted as ; there is meaning to be found in a stagnant life, i think is depected beautifully in the finale and although it all seemed a bit underwhelming at first, i ververy much enjoyed it and would preffer it in contrast to a high action-no emotion-answer spatting episode.

although i cant help but question how much will the characters live thorugh before they notice the pointlessness of their world, but then again, isnt our world pointless aswell- if not observed from a macroscopic lense in the same way we view the circus?? \
