From the spot on which she was perched on the window sill, Zelda had been marking the differences in the Ordonian sky, in comparison to the familiar view from her castle. She had noticed, of course, that the hero had been tossing and turning in his bed, but the idea of waking him had seemed... indelicate. And there was quite enough of that going on already, thank you very much.
When he’d woken himself, however, Zelda had made sure to be as gentle as possible for she knew all too well what waking from such nightmares was like. In fact, it was very much so the reason that she was still awake herself. Even with their evil defeated, the shadows were never far from her mind.
“Should I fetch you some tea?” Even if he didn’t have any on hand, the Princess never went anywhere without a small supply. Just in case.
