WELL! lemme fill you in on it.

Chickensmoothie, or CS as i will refer to it, is a site with childish/cutesy virtual pets and over 100 rules on what you cannot do. Some of the rules are okay, others.... well, others are pointless.

The site is aimed at young kids but, i find that most of the site is made up of 20+ year olds. How do i know? well, i only hear chicken smoothie from those who have been apart of the site for many years or have long since left. I myself once had an account way back when which i had deleted on 2014. And, when i popped on a new account i began searching around.

See the roleplay areas of CS are FAR too advanced to be kids. Chat areas may have a few kids but, most seem to be at least 16.

So, why is it still pg? Who the fuck knows. until my friend referred me to it, i was sure the site had closed down as it is starting to lose peoples interest.

Yo, users of CS, join Flight rising for dragons or Xanje and/or Ovipets for variety. The sites mentioned are a heck of a lot better in art quality and activity. and, guess what.. You can breed your pets on all of them! HOOHO, CS, you really need to step up your game.

So, what else is fueling my hatred? The roleplayers are mostly advanced, which is great! but, why do they atick themselves to CS instead if locating better sites?

Roleplayers of CS, you could be on sites like Feralfront, Advanced Scribes, Xanje and many others with your writing skill. But, instead, you prefer to stick to a site that is made for 8 year olds? you lose my respect as Roleplayers!

Aside from that, it lacks variety on the adoption area and you are limited to adopting 5 pets of each specie a month or week or some shit. Which, for people who like to stock pile and collect, sucks.

Lets also not forget the Image rule!

on CS you cannot use images w/o asking if they can be used, which is understandable for art created by someone [i.e DeviantArt users]. Now, in regards to why this rule is stupid, lets point to the Fact that images without a CLEAR WATERMARK on the image is free game for anyone on the internet. Watermark is a Copyright symbol and thus, users taking that image are violating copyright laws.

So, what images may not apply to this?

Images or gifs cropped/made from tv shows.

Pet photos. Ofc, some people may not like you using their cat as your FC for a warriorcat roleplay, but, hey.. what is the f''king change they will actually ever see it? Very, very, very low.

Art w/o a Watermark: Sorry, but this is considered free to use.

most photography: Believe it or not, using images of people from insta or such is not breaking a law. at that, most professional photographers post images to share them and so- it is considered free use [unless a watermark is present in the image].

Stock photos: Now the watermark on these is, well, Super annoying. but, you can use them!
