I havent been keeping up with genshin much BUT...

These two randomly showed up on my dashboard to jumpscare me.

I didnt even realize we were getting skirk as a playable character until yesterday :,D

#i have some thoughts...#first of all im happy we are finally getting such a lore-heavy character #and ineffa could prove to be relevant as well #but i dont get why the latter HAS to be a 5 star #we've been getting too many of those lately jeez #i love skirk's abyss theme (especially her arms) but they couldve done so much more with her design #and while ineffa's robot elements are interesting it still looks like they released just her beta design (pun intended)#its a shame because genshin character designs have come a long way (ie compare wriothesley-diluc and jean-navia)#a tedious issue ive had with genshin's character design team is that they sacrifice original elements/creative outfits/detailed garments #for the sake of showing more skin or drawing attention to the character's figure #which isnt bad on its own (considering genshin is a gacha game) but it has become even more apparent with these two #fem character design peaked with furina and arlecchino imo #ive already seen plenty of fan redesigns of ineffa and skirk and i prefer them over the original ones #ill hop off my soapbox now #skirk #genshin impact #genshin #genshin skirk #genshin impact skirk #ineffa #genshin impact ineffa

i would just like to remind you that your negative feelings about your writing are okay. you are allowed to feel however you want about your writing - style, plot, characters - and it is okay and there is nothing inherently bad about it being negative. if people are trying to force positivity down your throat, that’s wrong and you need to communicate that to them if you haven’t already. your feelings about your writing are acceptable, it is up to you and you alone to do what you want to think will help you. there is nothing wrong in feeling whatever you may feel.

I don’t ship it at all, and I avoid it as much as possible on this site but it’s difficult when I have Spy/Scout blogs reblogging my dad!Spy text posts...normally I don’t like putting “Don’t tag as (insert ship here)” in the tags but if people keep tagging my posts with that then I’ll have to start putting it in I guess.

I mean most of the Spy/Scout content I’ve stumbled across was created before it was revealed that Spy was Scout’s dad, so that’s understandable because at that time it wasn’t made canon. But people still shipping it after the reveal? No, no sir, and I definitely don’t ship it at all.
