Hiya,

So I have been pretty done lately and to cheer myself up I watched ‘The Darkest Universe’ (2016) and absolutely loved it.

The writing the pacing the cinematography are gorgeous and the acting was lovely on all accounts. I loved the mild and hidden humour and crushed on Joe Thomas throughout.

My main and large issue with the film is that I don’t understand the ending. Please, I have looked online and I don’t get what happened to Toby and Alice. If anyone can shed light for me that would be fantastic!

it is for this reason i am a writer. (I don't know) i can instantly see the interactions between people and (I don't Know) build a whole world, or a narrative, but i cannot understand bodies' language or facial expression. what is in the (i Don't know) twitch of that smile?

She says to make a side dish and a vegetable.  I ask her what, she tells me she doesn't care.

I find something to cook, run it by her just in case, and she tells me again, "I don't care."

Ten minutes later, she's bugging me about how I cook the rice.  And complaining about the size of the pan I cooked the spinach in.
