I’m currently on page 9 of a prompt that was only supposed to be 500 words.

Someone smack me and tell me to stop. It’s not even one of my ships either (no offense at all whatsoever to anyone shipping this ship -- it’s just not something I’m personally passionate about) so why in the heck am I putting so much fucking effort into it?

Cause I lack the ability to half ass anything. It’s a legit character flaw of mine.

Fingers crossed this comes out at least even just a little okay.

Writing something from the point of view of an outsider so that a reader will see it as deeply magical and otherworldly is pretty easy. Doing the same from the point of view of someone for whom it’s normal is another proposition entirely.

#I am not complaining #I like challenges #but this is something that I think would be easier to convey in visual art or music than in text

Registered for a fanfic exchange (Fairytale Inspired) and managed to be the only person in the Genshin fandom there, even though someone voted the fandom and SO MANY ship tags into the pool.

The other fandom I always sign up on is Doctor Who, which means I don't become absolutely unmatchable, but damn.

I'll just keep signing up for challenges/exchanges and asking/offering for Genshin Impact until I manage to get a thing.
