ok   ok   but   !!   concept   :   sophie   as   a   demigod   of   athena,   working   as   a   primatologist   bc   she   grew   up   with   her   mortal   father   who's   working   as   head   primatologist   in   a   wildlife   sanctuary.   she   displays   high   degree   of   intelligence   when   dealing   with   animals   &   can,   to   an   extent,   understand   owls.   her   father   knows   of   sophie's   godly   heritage,   but   has   yet   to   tell   sophie   about   it.   they're   actually   rather   close   as   he   was   a   single   dad,   &   she   was   raised   in   a   loving   environment.   but   it's   only   about   time   before   monsters   find   her   &   try   to   kill   her   :)
