alessandra was born into a large italian family in elmerton. her parents are immigrants from tuscany and moved to florida to make a comfortable home for themselves and their family. upon arriving in america, they already had 3 children and mrs. mariano was 4 months pregnant with alessandra. they didn’t come to the country with much but the small amount of money they saved and a limited amount of clothes for all of them. her father was a cook in a local restaurant for a some time while his wife looked after the kids at home, and also had a little sewing business, which brought in some money for them too. mr and mrs. mariano didn’t speak much english, but as the time went on, they picked up on it.
when alessandra was 6, they welcomed their last baby into the family. a little girl. ally immediately took her under her wing and mothered her, as if she were her own little baby doll. she doted on her younger sister so much, and still does.
alessandra was always a very bright student. she enjoyed school and was good at all of her subjects, but she was also the class clown. being very silly and making the other kids laugh, so she got in trouble sometimes because of that, but she got away with it since she was one of the smartest kids in her grade and didn’t cause any trouble other than that.
when it comes to her personality, alessandra is probably one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. she’s loving, caring, funny, sweet... she’s just a 5′4 ball of sunshine pretty much. she doesn’t say a bad word about anyone, unless they’ve hurt someone she loves.

she went to college to study psychology, which was where she met the man who would be her husband. he came from an italian family too, and they bonded over that as well as their common hobbies. ally always had trouble with her sexuality. growing up catholic, she had the idea that same sex relations were bad instilled in her. so, she hid her attraction for women and jumped at the first boy she took an interest in. little did she know, that interest was purely platonic. she loved him, but not in the way he wanted her to. they did end up getting married and having three daughters. ally adored the family she made, but her sexuality was still nagging at the back of her head. she couldn’t live in secret forever. especially considering she was in love with her business partner and close friend. the two began a brief affair and decided to leave their partners for each other. they are currently in a relationship, and alessandra is embracing her life as a newly out and proud lesbian.
