Good night, sweet prince/princess

The Duke felt a shiver go up his spine as he noticed Queen Elsa slowly walking towards him. Scared, he shakily opened his mouth to call for his guards, but before he could even inhale, Elsa swiped her hand in their direction, causing blades of ice to fly at them then pin them to the wall; some tore their clothes, others tore through them. But the Duke’s eyes only flickered to them for less than a moment, as the Snow Queen’s were currently locked on his.

He began hyperventilating as she cornered him. In her eyes, her hauntingly ice blue eyes, he could see nothing but anger. But behind the anger, he noticed, was pain. Pain for what he had done to her. For the first time in his life, the Duke began to feel some remorse for his actions.

All of this flashed through his mind in less than a second, and he was surprised to feel a tear fall from his eyes. Elsa scoffed at him.

"Are you scared, Duke?" She taunted. The Duke nodded slowly. Elsa narrowed her eyes at him. "You should be." And with that, she waved her hand, sending hundreds of ice daggers at the Duke.

The pain was something The Duke could never even imagine. Everywhere stung. He was literally being stabbed by a thousand daggers. He began to sob. It wasn’t long before he began seeing the light. With his last breath, he looked at Elsa and whispered two words of regret. “I’m sorry.”

And with that, the Duke of Weselton, the man who had tried to take over Arendelle, was dead.
