What I want

A fantasy novel that I can read that has the most cliche typical love triangle. An ordinary girl, who’s always been secretly in love with her childhood friend. Her fate is predetermined, she’s nothing special, you know the drill. And then magic, boom, she’s a princess, she’s going to change the world, all of that. And we get the mysterious, dark prince figure, who’s obviously evil but has dark hair and an angsty backstory and the girl can feel herself kind of falling in love with him. We’ve all read it. You know it would sell.

But for the love of God, can we PLEASE make the childhood friend another girl?? Can we make this wlw?? Please?? And can the childhood friend turn out to be more than just that? Also can the main girl, for once, choose the childhood friend over the mysterious love interest?? Those mysterious love interests always turn out to be toxic and the childhood friends are just so warm and nice and deserve love.

Subvert my all time favorite tropes and make it gay and you’ve got yourself a love triangle that I, someone with a very strong hatred of love triangles, would drink up like water in a desert.

Someone write this because I have 2 massive projects that I’m writing and I can’t do this but please. I would. Love it.
