Alliam : Firsts
It had been a long day for Ali. In the 2 years that she had been working at LA General she had never had a night like tonight. Over her time in school she had spent time at the hospital working on using her powers for good but tonight they had done her no good because she had blanked out. She had lost it over the fact that the older man she was trying to save was a gunshot victim. Her father had died of a gunshot wound, she had recently found out, and the grief over the fact that she couldn’t save this man was like a hole was punched into her stomach. After cleaning up she had left, her shift over, but she had only made it down two halls before collapsing to her knees with a loud sob, arms wrapped around herself as she rocked back and forth. She didn’t hear the footsteps and so she was startled by the warm hand in her shoulder and the query of if she was alright. “No..” Ali sobbed out a new wave of sorrow ripping through her chest. @wrldofmuses (when ever you’re set for it)
