That was SUPERB. God. I loved it so much! I know you posted it, like, five minutes ago, but if you were ever inclined to consider a sequel - say, around their 10 year anniversary, where maybe Damen is the one under blindfold, I would die.

Honestly I’m surprised of how many people manage do to read it already because okay, it’s not 100k, but it’s still long! I have ideas and I have no sense of self-restraint so That Happens.

Also, I’m crackling at the thought of Damen as the bound one at the 10th year anniversary. I feel obliged to tag @josselinkohl who was proposing stuff like “yeah but the 10th year one is Different” a couple of days ago.

Things that would absolutely happen if Damen were to be the one to be blindfolded:

- Our beloved Giant Animal would actually end up breaking at least one of the restraints before the hour is up

- Pallas would have A Stroke because he barely managed to handle having to be involved in a public sex thing with the Exalted’s husband, the Exalted himself is Too Much (mandatory paging to @lunavagantt)

- Laurent getting his own rush of possessiveness might give an even more Veretian twists to the aftermath and I’m seriously not sure they would make it to the chambers before Laurent pulls a “let me finish what we started” stunts somewhere in the hallways of the Palace.

I’m not sure I will end up writing it because I think a lot of Homeward Bound is about getting to know this whole tradition stuff, but thinking about it is certainly hilarious!!!
