part of me is like, this is why scott is so damn caring about other people all the time. most of it is because of his upbringing (read: his mother's awesome parenting), but i think it's also because he's grown up his whole life knowing what it's like to be trapped in a body that feels like it's dying, that hurts him. he takes care of the vulnerable because knows what weakness feels like, how it sucks not to be able to do something. he comforts people who feel helpless, like stiles in 2x11. ;__;
