✿ Gotta make Beanpole kawaii
Send me a ✿ and my muse will react to your muse putting a flower in their hair
It was dark out and bone-chillingly cold. Even though it was winter, late December even, there was no snow on the grounds. It was painfully freezing though, thanks to the midnight wind blowing against the teens exposed skin.
Shit.. I knew I should have taken Annie’s advise and grabbed a scarf!
Shivering, the beanpole crossed his arms over his chest rightly to try and lock in as much body heat as he could muster. Looking over to his side, he raised an eyebrow at the kneeling woman. Her back was towards him and she seemed to be huddled over something, doing something. The slight shifting in her arms gave it away.
He didn’t bother asking what she was doing. She’d just tell him to mind his own business anyways.
That’s how Adara was.
It had been a long while since to two had last been together. After the two split, their relationship in general became rather strained. It had taken months for them to even get on good terms. Now, although it was still hard at times, they were doing much better. Although, the male still missed how they used to be.
The affection.
The care.
The trust.
The.. Love.
Shaking his head of any further unnecessary thoughts, Bertholdt finally got bored of just standing there silently and decided to nudge the other slightly with his calf.
"Hey What are ya doing down there?”
Bending down slightly to try and see over the others shoulder, he almost stumbled back when she suddenly moved. Closing his eyes in a wincing manor, he expected to be scolded for trying to snoop or smacked. But as the moment lingered, neither was happening. Instead, he felt something gently into his hair.
Opening his eyes, he blinked a few times in surprise before reaching up slowly and feeling his fingertips brush against a flowers delicate petals. His grey iris’s had followed his hands motion, so when he looked back down towards Adara, he couldn’t help but look shocked.
Moving a hand to grip his jacket, he felt a burning sensation in his chest as a warm emotion began to swell around the area.
After a new moments of carelessly gazing at the other in silence, unable to speak, he found his voice coming back to him. However, only in that of a whisper, quickly to be followed by a soft smile.
“ Thank you."
