A chance meeting || starbornhammer
Sometimes that was all the princess wanted. Just one moment to let the sound of nothing fill the air. Just a calming silence was all she wanted. Was that really too much to ask for?
Leia stared furiously at the hologram before her. One would think the library would be a good place to not be disturbed, to have a few moments of peace and quiet. But not here, not this time. That would be far too much for her to ask for. Around her, men argued about the best route to get to their favorite cantina, or women discussing loudly what planet they wished to go on vacation on this year while their children screamed and cried at their feet.
Silence was no where to be found.
The brunette gave a sigh before silently shutting her hologram off and standing. "I'll just take this home and return it in the morning." She informed the older lady before heading out of the loud building. Her eyes glanced around as she tried to think of somewhere quiet to go to. After some time of contemplating, Leia found her answer.
The forest was sure to be quiet. If she didn't venture too deep, she'd find peace and quiet while staying close to the city she'd promised her aide she'd remain in for the night. Slipping the small device into her pocket, Leia made her way into the forest.
She was not disappointed. After walking for only a few minutes, a calm silence greeted her. A smiled tugged at her lips as she stepped into a small opening. Her smiled faded fast as she heard the sounds of a twig snapping. She spun around, eyes darting around the clearing.
"Who's there? Show yourself."
