(For a continuation of Blue, please! Thank you! 💜)
My face becomes incredibly hot at his suggestion. I can feel my heart starting to pound against my chest as I swallow nervously.
I glance over at the entrance before looking back at Blue. Biting my lip, I tuck a piece of hair behind my ear before speaking.
“You’re still hungry, huh? I can um…help you, if you’d like, but… If we do this…” I stand and take a step until I’m standing right in front of him, my face lowered until it’s in his line of sight. My voice lowers into a whisper, “I want you to take me somewhere more private. Please.”
For someone who had just spent a week using up every drop of magic he could spare, one would think Blue was a monster possessed as he sprung up from his seat. “BUT OF COURSE, MY DEAR!”
Clearly that meal had more than just the usual surge of boosting magic to it, that or a certain someone spent his previous life as a damn energizer bunny! Either way, it was only a matter of seconds before he had scooped you up in a princess hold, an arm beneath your knees, the other supporting your back, thus having you wrap your arms about his neck for support.
The classic ‘Mwehe!” that tore from the surprisingly energetic skeleton could be heard throughout a few of the adjoining rooms as he made short work of leaving the comfort and relaxation of this shared space, one heavy foot fall after another as he placed as much distance between the crowded public venues and the pair of you as possible.
Beaming with pride and indeed a good deal of excitement, a soft cerulean hue of a blush glowing upon his pale ivory skull and making the tiny stars of his freckles just shine, he offered you a satisfied wink once he located the venue of choice.
A seldom used workroom, though stacked to the brim with this and that, tools, tables, tarps, and all sorts of oddities, by the layer of dust surrounding and covering most items, it had not held a visitor in some time. Setting you down carefully, he playfully tapped your nose, requesting you to wait but a moment.
Unrolling an unused tarp and making sure to flip it, so the inside faced up, he had cleared off one of the work tables, and with a bit of effort, located several battery operated ‘tea lights’ as well as some actual candles and various items to hold said candles.
His mischievous grin grew as he set the scene, surrounding the now covered table with a ring of these lights, save of course a space for you to be seated upon it, tapping the edge of the table, his bright starlit eye lights filled his sockets with an eagerness he did not dare try to contain.
Yeah, I... kinda fell off the face of the earth here on tumblr after my Top surgery at the end of March. Oops. It went very well and I’m doing great ^^
‘Course, my entire tumblr rp muse went completely silent while I was recovering, thus my disappearance, but it’s finally starting to scream back to life. Slowly, but surely and mostly focusing on Umbran, as right now he’s the loudest and we both want to kick his plot back into motion.
Don’t expect me to be very active at first though, I still have to get back into the swing of things here on tumblr. Also, I’m very aware there are asks in my inbox. I WILL get to them eventually!))
Based on the ask about “God!Alcor tries to inhabit a human body”.
God!Alcor tries to inhabit a human body
Alcor had done this countless times before.
Again and again, when he began to forget what it meant to be human, when he was lonely, when he was in the middle of a good stage and wanted to feel, really feel, again. When a deal was offered that would let him live as his sister's twin again, just for a little while.
Sometimes, he would try and make one as close to 'average' as possible. A body to blend in, to match the majority of humans. To try and make this last as long as possible.
But most often, or if he was feeling especially nostalgic and could get away with it (and was in a state of mind where he could remember) he'd try and create a human body as similar to his original as he could. It was the the form that was most familiar to him, from so many years using it as his form, from holding it as his demonic form rather than a star or some other, more energy-efficient shape. Soften the edges, smooth away the demonic features, a body that looks almost like him if he'd stayed human that day.
Dipper should be good at it by now.
It's been...centuries? Millenia? Time seems to meld together when one lives this long...since the last time he'd tried this, but he's still had a lot of practice over all the years before that.
Long enough since he last did this, with all the changes that had come to Dipper. Slow, creeping changes, as he grew more powerful, as he slowly, so slowly, began to change.
It should have been impossible, but when had that stopped Dipper before? He was already an impossibility, what was growing from a demon into a god compared to going from human to demon?
But he'd been so focused on the changes happening to himself and his flock that it had been centuries at least since he'd interacted with humans. Out of fear, of his power and what he could do.
But he had this now. He was a god, he could do what he wanted.
And he wanted to be human, to fake it for just a little while.
The motions were simple, even simpler now than they'd once been.
A human body was complex, difficult to create and have function properly, but Dipper had done it so many times by now it was second nature for him.
A human body lay ready for him in minutes, and as he had so many times before, Dipper slid into it, possessing the vessel that would be his physical form.
A physical human form that promptly burst into blue and golden flames, unable to handle Dipper within it.
Dipper zipped out of the roasting meat, hovering overhead and glaring down at the body.
It burned harder in response, as if mocking him by being unable to even stand the heat of his glare.
Fine. Obviously, he wasn't paying close enough attention and did something wrong. He'd do it again, and pay attention this time.
Dipper began creating another body, and for this one, he took his time, paying close attention to the creation of each individual piece of the meat sack, in the density of bone and texture of muscle, the movement of joints and structure of blood vessel, as opposed to the days long gone by when he got lazy and made one just functional enough to pass at a glance.
It took hours, but what were hours to a being that was doomed to live until the end of everything and beyond?
Finally, it was ready, and Dipper slid into the body, settling into place. It always took a little while to get used to the feeling of having a body after so long without one, this time he should try and feel it out before putting it where humans could see hi...
Oh. Wait. It was on fire again.
That wasn't ideal.
Dipper discarded the second body, letting it burn out and ignoring it as the Flock came to finish off the discard, curling up instead and conjuring a notebook to start dissecting what had happened.
What was going wrong?
The third body suffered the same fate, and the glower was much more heated this time, and several of the Flock protested the waste as the meat began to burn away.
Dipper blinked, startled, and the Flock fell on the body.
After all this time, it was no longer disturbing to watch them devour the physical form he'd meant to inhabit. No need to waste it.
Time to investigate. Dipper shoved his sleeves up past the elbow...or, to be more precise, shoved the idea of sleeves over his elbows, as he was nonphysical enough at the moment that clothing was more of a sketchy idea over the light form that was his body...and got to work.
---XXX---
A dozen bodies (and veritable feast for the members of the Flock who had realized what was going on and had no issue eating his discards) later, and Dipper was more frustrated than ever.
Every body had been physically and magically perfect.
Lolonja (who had been there for him since the beginning of everything, who he wouldn't admit was sort of his favorite) trotted up to where Dipper curled a few inches above the grass of the Mindscape, staring at his clawed hands with eyes gone wide and blank.
“It's me, isn't it,” Dipper said, in a voice that echoed and cracked despite himself, sounding twelve once again under the demonic layers despite how long he'd lived. “It's been getting stronger. It's...I'm really changed, aren't I. I'm not a demon anymore. I thought I still could, even if I'm...but I can't. I'm not...I'm too strong. I can't...I can't take a physical form anymore. How much longer until I can't answer a summons at all?”
Lolonja leaned against his side as his arms wrapped around her and demonic tears began to stain her wool.
There was nothing she could say as the remains of her Master's attempts smoldered, disappearing into the rest of the Flock.
All she could do was be there for him as he tried to come to terms with yet another thing taken away from him and wait for him to be ready to try and find ways around it.
He would. She believed in him. They all did.
But he was turning into a god now, no question about it. Most of the Flock hadn't been quite sure if that was what was happening to their Master, or if it was something else entirely.
She'd never heard of a god with Nightmares before. The next few centuries would prove to be...interesting.
Do you think Zen gets hot and bothered when MC calls him Oppa?
Wellll, his first reaction is breaking into euphoric laughter, then this:
Followed by suspicious gasps and moans. I suppose he’s faking a “heart attack”, but you should really listen to it. I have a dirty mind but I’m sure it’s not just me.
I might or might not have something queued for the next days!
Also… I just reached a milestone and I think I have no words left for thanking all of you for bearing up with me, my pixel creatures and my chronic awkwardness. I really can’t explain how much I appreciate all of you (and also all of the new followers I still have to stalk and stuff because yeah, rituals)!
I’m actually planning some kind of follower gift for you, nothing much cause I’m a flop, but I hope you’ll appreciate that anyway! ♡
I’ve nothing else to say so I’ll leave you with something you probably haven’t seen in a while on your dashes…
I have no excuse as to why I stopped posting in the first place, nor would I remember even if I did, and I apologize for that. I think I might start posting again but not regularly, so requests are open if you want to and I’ll get to them when I can. I swear I will try not to forget this time.
Also, I have no idea where I was going with Angel so I’m discontinuing that for now. If I do start it up again, I’ll probably post it on wattpad and link it here.
