Hi, humans!

 This tumblr is a school work of English subject conducted by students of "Instituto Federal de educação, ciência e tecnologia de Santa Catarina". The group of students is made by three people: Carlos Henrique Horst Bianchin, Elisa Buss Pereira and Helena de Albuquerque Fontes. The purpose of this tumblr is to identify how english is present in Brazil, mainly in business. But how can we see it? We must take pictures of the business names that we can find in our neighboorhood and, if we can, talk to the business boss to ask him/her why he put the name in English. If we can´t do it, we should think and create assumptions about the name's choice.

Carmen Price

Carmen Price is an 18 year old bilingual freshman here at VCU. She once dreamed of being an ice cream lady who helped heal animals out of the back of her van. Now she hopes to join the Peace Corps after 4 years studying International Studies with a focus in social justice and a minor in Spanish. She hopes that sometimes during this winter break she can journey to Honduras with Students Helping Honduras. In the summer she'll be traveling abroad to England (hopefully if her mom pays) and then to the wild scenery of Houston Texas, her family's new home.
