I'm going to hijack these pictures because the statements there in strike a little too close to heart to a few things that have been happening to me and mine recently in regards to schools and society.

This will be a rant and you have been warned.

These statements to me say that no matter your life circumstances or what is going on with with you or the people around me, society or a specific people group that you are associated with have by merely knowing you or being something you interact have some how been given a divine right to your life and HOW you should be living that life.

Just because you go to school at an institution that means it can dictate when and how you communicate, how you dress, and how you should behave while sick. Just because you live in a specific portion of the planet you am expected to drop everything and mow a parents lawn and otherwise be a "good boy" even though I am disabled and it is difficult for me to do so(Not that my mom expected such just her neighbors who by the way don't know anything about me). Just because you walk through Society's streets and visit Society's stores you are expected to be Society's definition of "straight, gay, asexual, masculinity, femininity, gamer, punk, goth". 

Neither society nore any individual or group combination has any rights to the way you dress, act, or otherwise conduct yourself. Just because you coexist with us doesn't mean others have the right to any part of you.

Yes there are things we all may chose to do to better coexist, even some things we compromise on in order to ensure ease of comunication. However I/we do not HAVE to do it just to make others feel better about our exsitance. Anything you do or don't do is for your own betterment and because you want to take care of your family and friends. Not because others have a right to how you act.
