jongin gripped seulgi’s hand, nestling his head comfortably against her chest as she cradled him from behind. the fireworks blowing over their heads were one thing constant about the memories. still explosive and beautiful, loud and colorful. sentiments changed. now looking at them was bittersweet.
every laugh and scream, every beautiful color made up every reminder that the world was still moving on–celebrating–all while people were dying or missing. one of their own close to it if they didn't eliminate whispers.
