Sometimes Will can summon the other side of himself on purpose, if he needs it to use his powers - but usually he’d rather it not come to that. Usually if it slips out, if he slips into the other headspace, that other mindset, it’s the opposite of intentional.

Basically: established relationship, college age. Monster!Will as a side effect of the Upside Down - kind of a vaguely split personality type deal plus Demon Aesthetics. The monster side of Will hasn't done anything sexual with Mike yet and it's starting to wear on him.
