Graham had spent a majority of his time in Ceres Centropolis trying to make the club perfect. The soft opening had passed, but the grand opening just had to be perfect. In his need to achieve perfection, Graham hadn’t noticed the time and when he did, he laughed to himself. “Wow, Graham,” he scolded, “You really need to get a grip on yourself.” With that, the man cleared the rest of the club and locked up. As he locked up, he heard a noise come through - a strange footstep followed by the dragging of something heavy. He locked the door and as he pocketed the key, he turned his attention over to where the noise was coming from.
“Hey,” Graham called out. He walked closer to the sound despite his mind warning him to just leave the noise alone. Usually, he made sure everyone who was employed with him avoided the back alley - it was stereotypical, but even he couldn’t help but feel the unease of the alley way. “Hey, is someone bac--,” the last syllables morphed in a shout of surprise as he came across a strange creature. His eyes widened, fear seized them for a moment before he blinked. Graham had never been one to freeze. So, as the creature drew near, he moved his hands into a circle as he took control of the air around him.
“Shit,” he grabbed hold of the air, using it to push him upward and onto the roof as the creature’s limbs trashed around. It knocked over the trash bins and Graham’s worry was that it was headed for the club. He had to move. “Hey, fucker,” he shouted at the creature. He moved his hands together, clapping them up and then pushed the gust of air strong enough to knock the creature over. With the creature’s attention now on him, Graham shouted back, “Catch me if you can, asshole.” With his abilities, he was able to glide through the air as if he was skating through it. He needed to get the creature out of here and away from the city. -- @twicehunted
