The muffled hum of the air-conditioner was the current soundtrack of Rhapsody. The heat-driven bodies that swayed to the beat were replaced by the stillness of everything perfectly placed - no chairs were moved aside, no tables pressed against the walls and no one had to be removed from the club due to their attempt to climb into the DJ's booth. The club's usual patrons were asleep, but the long weekend was soon to rise them and this tranquil state of Rhapsody would return to a state that even Dionysus would approve of.
Graham liked the tranquil state.
As he walked along the perimeter of the club, he wondered if it were possible to expand beyond the current square footage. They were functioning mainly as a club, but he wondered if they could go one step further. He paced around the club slowly, but with the sudden movement of the air, he sensed the entrance of another person.
"I'm sorry," Graham said, his pace quickened as he came to greet the intruder, "The club's not open to the public until 8 PM. Please come back during regular business hours."
