I will never ever get sick of this view 😍😍 One of the greatest cities 💯💯💯 #Chicago #Skyline #I290 #PhonePhotography #ThroughTheWindow #ILoveThisCity #BestCity ❤❤❤ (at I-290 West)
#hyperlapse app seems to give some timing control to time lapse vids. #I290 #eisenhower #ctatrains
#cta #wienermobile #blueline #chicago #igerschicago #medicaldistrict #i290 #ike #oscarmeyer (at 290 east bound)
I work in Berwyn and use the Oak Park Blue Line stop daily on my way home. I also drive occasionally, and although I avoid this section of I-290, I have used it in the past and will use it in the future. What I cannot for the life of me understand, is IDOT wanting to add another lane here. What does that solve? Adding lanes has repeatedly shown to not do anything for traffic congestion long term. And anyone who has driven this stretch of road knows the real problems: left side exits and entries; and elevation changes in the road that create blind spots. My guess is, you fix those two issues and you would create the traffic flow the State is looking for. Adding lanes does nothing in the long run.
