Note that I say “some” people, but fact is we all apply our power or sense thereof to this extent at some or the other stage. I guess the point I want to make here is that one can be aware of it, and avoid being a manipulative ding-dong with some people. Sometime playing open cards gets the result without the bullshait.

Discipline: As a kid I thought of it as dads belt, or mom at the door when I came back dirty & after dark. Discipline sucked when it was getting up on a Saturday morning to help dad with tasks around the house. At some stage it changed - it became an ability to withhold my opinion, to stay quiet when I could add value. So it seems some can take discipline and becomes its slave. But if we slice it up carefully and think for a moment then it can be the fuck&r that gives us what we want. Whatever the F we want.
