You should have picked Mercy ~ Jieun+Jamie+Styles
When the school decided to go to easter Island this was not the reality she had imagined. Wind whipped her hair around her face as she squared her jaw and dug her feet into the ground. "I'm not going to tell you again, give it back." If only things were that simple. As her opposer dove at her the female practiced one of the moves she'd learned in class. One swift kick to his leg had the limb snapping off and flying one direction as she hefted him over her head and threw his body the other way. My how easy he flew considering the difference in their size. The leg bounced along the ground with all the mechanical sounds that used to annoy her in the academy and she resisted the urge to completely break it. He tried to stand, hobbling off balance now thanks to the lack of his limb and again she faced him, anger evident in her tone.
"I said give it back. I'm giving you one last chance." And how did thank her, he tried to throw a dagger at her. She had to move quick to side step the blade but she wasn't quick enough. A sharp yelp was given as the blade slashed through her arm and in return she returned the favor showing him how one was supposed to aim when they wanted their opponent dead. Her throwing knives whistled through the air landing their marks in his chest and neck and as his body slumped to the ground she cautiously approached giving it a good kick as if to seal the deal. "Stubborn fool, you just couldn't do as I said." It had almost been too easy, and hadn't he always bragged about how strong he was? Bending down her fingers began to search through the various pockets he wore searching for her item. Blood continued to leak from her arm mingling with the blood leaking from his various wounds but she could ignore that. She could feel it, knew it was there she just had to-
Her train of thought was broken when she saw someone emerging from the trees. Glancing up at a familiar face with wide eyes she managed to stammer out an excuse. "Uhhh...this isnt what It looks like...entirely..."

you shouldn't have put a ring on it ~Samuel Jieun
When she had decided to explore the caves on the Island it had been with the hopes of finding the mythical Nagini village everyone kept whispering about. Apparently it wasn't just an island rumor, it did exist. Equipped with enough water to last the day, various snacks, her jacket and of course her ever present throwing knives, she entered the caves hoping excitement would await her.
Hours continued of her searching room after room, level after level of the caves. Obviously things would have been easier had she bribed a resident to take her but that was too easy. On the sixth hour of her tour luck finally seemed to have come to her side; from the walls of the cave she could hear the faint sounds of music, laughter and overall celebration. Following the noise she had anticipated a party of some sort but what she saw was even better.
"Oh a wedding!" She had heard stories of Nagini weddings and just how beautiful they were and now she might actually get to see one! She steadily crept closer, brown eyes taking everything in and when they landed on a familiar face she stared in shock - and possibly great delight- at the person. Samuel was here, in traditional Nagini clothing, preparing to be wed.
Luck was definitely on her side, stories like this would live forever. El

The alien was not a creature that explicitly liked being lazy and doing nothing but the lure of a hot and summer-y afternoon where he could prance around in nothing but black swimming trunks and work on his golden tan had won him over. And thus he ended up on the beach, laying on a towel with his android-pup Candy, his golden skin (and piercings) shimmering with oil as he let out a wheeze of happiness. He dozed off in the sun, his mechanic arm painted golden for the vacation, white long locks of hair in a messy bun when he was roughly awakened by something or someone...
[ IA TRIP ] Te Pito o Te Henua (Easter Island)
You have chosen and you chose South America as the destination for the new Insolitus school trip. The Easter Islands are a part of this continent so I couldn’t resist.
The Easter Island is famous for the 887 Maoi statues that can be found on the island. These statues have caused a huge amount of legends as well as pop-cultural references throughout the years. The island has about 5000 inhabitants that the humans know of. Yet there is a secret gem to be found: Maluhia Village a small village in the North of the island.
Maluhia island is a magical village that is run magical creatures. The natives of the island, Rapa Nui descendants, know of the village and some are even allowed to go within it’s borders. However the tourists and other non-natives will not be able to see the village at all.
Within the village there are a high number of skin walkers, (V)Hoodoo priests, Waterspirits, Merfolk, Naum, Nightmarchers, Owlites and Nagini.
There are still some mentions to be found of the Tangata Manu cult in the village, which talks about a human/bird like creature (believed to have been an owlite by the locals). The Maoi statues have no clear makers for every group on the island will tell you they made them or know where they come from.
Possible activities for your characters on this trip
Visit the Maoi statues and feel the magical energy from them.
Get your beach time at the Anakena Beach.
Grab a bike and enjoy the nature on two wheels.
Hike to the top of the volcanic hills. The Terevaka hilltop is 507 meters above sealevel.
Go into the caves where the Nagini live in a small village underground. They will sell you charms and beads that are blessed with the islands’ natural energy.
Of course you can think of other things to do on the island as well, your characters can go to the island for a 2-week trip by getting into a large spacecraft that will bring everyone that wants to come to the island (with thanks to @emilia-ia for providing the space craft and flying it for us).
There will be other events around this one to sign up for!
#iaeasterisland is the tag for this event, to be used for open para’s and such :)
