Also that thinking is EVERYWHERE in Heideggerian phenomenology of art, like in Heidegger himself as well as people who want to do Heidegger + Art. Like fuck Heidegger tbh but he’s supposed to be like the Time guy and it’s all space space space and no music. And even when these people write about music they toooootttaaallllyyy miss the fucking point. Like when Iain Thomson wrote that book everyone freaked out about, he takes FUCKING U2 as the height of postmodernity in music??? Or at the very least suitable content for discussion?!?! What the fuck is that? FUCK U2 seriously what in the fuck is even going on
