God damn what time was it?

Roger blinked up at the sky, the sun making his head throb. Why the fuck did his head hurt so bad? He reached out weakly, gingerly touching his forehead, wincing when the throb blossomed into an agony. He groaned and let his hand drop back down to the pavement and blinked slowly. Okay, so the head trauma was why his head hurt, but why was he laying on the ground? It took him a moment of confusion before the memories came crashing down.

There had been a small group of men, all yelling at once, all swinging very large pain inducing objects. Cursed at the sky, the words more of a unintelligible moan at the top of his lungs at the sky. He had been mugged for what little he had, so much for today being a good day.
