Receiving an IALD award is universally heralded as the top honor in the lighting design industry. Begun in 1983, the IALD International Lighting Design Awards honors lighting design that reaches new heights, moves beyond the ordinary, and represents excellence in aesthetic and technical design achievement. The top honor of the IALD International Lighting Design Awards 2019, IALD's Radiance Award for Lighting Design Excellence, was presented to the project that has been judged among all submissions to be the finest example of lighting design excellence (based on the highest point score). In celebration of IALD's 50th anniversary, Chase the Dark, an international celebration of light for the first time ever will be occuring during the March equinox.

With a fun filled night full of experimenting and playing with colours, light and as always the shenanigans, it was indeed a night of celebration.
