If there is one thing that being 30, especially in this kind of time, has taught me, it would be ACCEPTANCE. To accept that everything around me happens for a reason, to accept that I have to actively do something in myself to cope and thrive with adversity, and to accept that happiness and certainty can be a choice if you just know where to look. I am blessed to know how, despite the challenges of my 30th year, I can actually say that I made most out of my time with it - learned to love the wonders of fitness and enjoyed its rewards, learned how to filter what I need and what I want and focus on those that can make me grow as a person, learned so many life skills from as simple as decluttering my life and possessions to DIY projects and home renovations but more important of all, I learned how to bask in the wonders of the simplicity of life. I want to thank you all - family, loved ones, friends, colleagues, mentors, and students - as I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for all of you. #iam31 #lastnumberinthecalendar☺️😭😅 https://www.instagram.com/p/CN-dZFhDI037HCpeVTEdX4Pfn5geud6euZV6_Y0/?igshid=rgsgg938zp1
