I remember hearing about his book in high school and by the time I read it in college I was mad that I had not read it years before.... It was a book that truly changed my life..Gave me a new perspective and outlook. I shared it with the young men in my family but I believe its a must read for everybody!! Had he been allowed to live he might have turned 95 today. My favorite quote: "Education is the passport to the future." I told my students that their library card was their passport. In the 60s there were several uprisings and people who fought back against racism, colonialism and Western interference in both Africa and America! The Congo has some of the most valuable resources that our current society cannot survive without. Prime Minister Patrice Lumumba of the Republic of the Congo stood tall against Belgium and was assassinated! The U.S government did the same to Malcolm X shortly afterwards. We live in Babylon which is a civilization designed in opposition of the will of God. This is why you suffer from anexiety and grief! The religion of Islam and the Qur'an is guidance of how to properly do the will of God and bring out your true righteous nature! It's full of deep wisdom and science. We, are the Al-Muhtadun (Nation of Islam), who have been established by Al-Mahdi and commisioned to bring in a new world of Freedom, Justice, Equality, and Peace! We were given a Supreme wisdom that is the key to unlock all the mystery of all Abrahamic religions, science, and the universe.  A specific antiodote/medicine for the uncomparible cancer we suffer from, from over 400 yrs of white supremacy and oppression. A wisdom so deep and profound that we haven't even scratched the surface of UNDERSTANDING!! A wisdom rooted in the same TRUTH that was used to create our Universe! As a teenager I read every Don-Diva and F.E.D.S Magazine. Watched every Troy Reed documentary and then some. There wasn't a Bo$$ I couldn't tell you about from Bumpy Johnson to Big Meech. But the story that impacted me the most was Malcolm X! Through him and my hunger to understand the world around me I stumbled across a body of knowledge and wisdom I couldn't unlearn (the TRUTH). With so many people confused in this world and not understanding the hour that we're in, I thank Allah(God) for my journey.
