The Kingshooter is a specially made handgun crafted to fire a very rare and expensive species of demon realm hermit crab called a Kingling, whose shell is hard enough to withstand the force of being launched from a firearm, and sharp enough pierce through the average body. Once inside the body of a subject, a Kingling emerges and begins to claw and chew through the insides, dealing 1d4 damage per turn and inflicting the Pained condition until removed. Attempts to remove them by individuals untrained in medical procedures cause severe damage on the victim's insides, doing a total of 3d8 damage for each Kingling being removed. Medically trained individuals only cause a maximum of 1d6 damage when attempting to remove each, but only if they succeed on a Deduce Roll with a DC of 20, otherwise they cause 2d6 damage per Kingling.
Without having to remove them, Kinglings can be prevented from causing further damage to the victim's body by being the targets of Techniques. They are prone to Paralysis, Sleep, Stun, and any other disabling conditions just as any other living creature would be. Kinglings can also be damaged by Techniques targeted at the victim's body, and are specially prone to heat/fire related Attacks and Techniques. Kinglings have 2HP each, but are protected by the user's body, which on average grants them 3 points of damage reduction.
