1. Pick and OTP and explain why you love them so much
SPIKE AND BUFFY. No one saw that coming, right?
I love them because they learn, eventually, how to depend on each other without being codependent. I love them because understanding each other and working together is second nature to them, even when they hated each other. I love them because they learned how to make a more beautiful love from each other, even though the path was hard. I love them because they don't have to lie or hide secrets from each other. They know each other, beyond the facades, right down to the core. On a primal level, they know each other as mortal enemies; on a personal level, they know each other as best friends.

2. Favorite movie from 2004-2014
Ehhh probably Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World (2010). It's got lovely fight scenes, amazing musical numbers, and more quotable lines than you can shake a stick at. Plus, Anna Kendrick!

I don't remember having a consistent imaginary friend. I would imagine people from books or original characters, but they changed frequently.

Hmm, I don't know. I wanted to go to Ireland and study, but that's mostly just because I like the place more than anything I particularly want to study there. I don't know.

Let them know you’ve tagged them the questions 1) What was the scariest moment of your life? Hmm. I've actually had a few, sadly over the years. But, I'd probably say it was when I was younger and got hurt very badly, where I couldn't breathe. No matter how hard I tried, I was unable to take in any oxygen...this went on for about 3 min.'s or so, it's hard to tell...it felt like forever. I was starting to pass out, before my grandma caught on to my miming of 'inhaler'. She helped to save my life. :) So, yeah, that was pretty scary. 2) If you could be any celebrity, living or dead, who would you be? Daniel Radcliffe or James Marsters so I could have endless, shameless fun with myself?? -- Sorry, couldn't help that one. Hmm. I'd probably be Sarah Michelle Gellar. Love that girl. And who would't want to be Buffy?! 3) Are you Marvel or DC? Hmm. I fall kind of in the middle. Maybe I lean a bit more towards Marvel. 4) Ice cream or frozen yogurt? Ice cream! 5) If you had access to a time machine, what year would you travel back/go to? Why? I realized a while ago...that while it'd be awesome to visit anywhere, I wouldn't necessarily want to STAY there for an extended period of time. With that said, I'd love to see the Middle Ages, Industrial Revolution, but my #1 visit (and don't judge me on this) would be Titanic. Besides, I consider all of my followers friends. :) 11) Why is your OTP your OTP? My God...how can I even put that into words?! That, and I have a few that are near and dear to my heart! Maybe I can ATTEMPT to do a 'quick' summary of why I love each...? Amy/Eleven: Amy Pond, the Girl Who Waited for her Raggedy Doctor. She is this bright, vivacious young woman with a thirst for adventure, while maintaing a great moral compass. She helps to ground the 900+ year old Doctor on their various journeys. She was always there when the Doctor began losing sight of what was right. Amy holds a special place in the Doctor's hearts, as she was the first face his face saw. The chemistry these two have is off the charts. They are able to speak volumes with a simple glance. They challenge and push each other, always strenghtening the other and being a great source of support. The Doctor has always fancied red-heads, and Amy has been known to have quite racy dreams of the 11th Doctor! ;) Buffy/Spike: -I'm gonna quote user invested-in-your-future, as they put it best: 'Buffy and Spike is pairing of contradictions and at the same time pairing of two very similar people, who walk the line between human and monster, alone. A high school queen-bee alpha bitch turned Slayer and a romantic poet turned Vampire. At some degree, both of them have flirted with death their entire life ever since they became who they became and at the same time both of them represent “death” to each other - Vampires kill the slayers, slayers kill vampires. Thus its only normal that their relationship began with those darker, death-infused sides of themselves. Ever since their first encounter they have been pretty much obsessed with each other and enjoyed facing each other, finding such a “gamble with death” thrilling. Buffy was the first Slayer Spike could not sufficiently kill and Spike was the first vampire personality to actually provide a challenge, a threat, danger. Its just like Spike says in “Out of Mind” - they have been dancing a complicated dance of death all their lives and the dance they had with each other never really stopped. Spike is someone who is unexpectedly sharp and has a very deep understanding of her, of even those sides of her that she herself denies. Buffy on other hand is easily capable of looking past Spike’s theatrics and the role the romantic poet is playing. They both are not fearful of calling out each other on their hypocrisies and flaws. Of taking each other at face value. And that’s exactly what sets those two off when they collide, forming a strange, yet beautiful and unique love-hate bond. They are like two storm clouds crashing to form a hurricane. Unpredictable, violent, random, yet at the same time beautiful. Its not surprising that they eventually are capable of bonding, as both of them and their insights into each other, provide the basis for that bond and an understanding of what each other is going through. They are one-of-a-kind, entities bound to not really fit into neither natural nor supernatural, haunted by their losses, pasts and complexes, as well as lost loves. Two wayward beings on the journey of self-discovery and self-destruction. Its a flawed, realistic, “raw” and dangerous relationship with many many missteps and horrible things. At the same time its this empathic bond that goes beyond simple love, making them like two parts of the whole. Its all the more evident because of insane level of chemistry between SMG and James Marsters, that will possibly never be seen again on tv ever. Which ironically is exactly why they have been capable of helping each other develop as people. Of rediscovering their true self and accepting it. Of understanding and ultimately forgiving each other and themselves. Essentially Spike is only one who truly understands Buffy and Buffy is only one who truly understands Spike, leading to a strange, for the lack of better words, faction of a slayer and vampire, who honestly believe in each other and learn to appreciate each other in their (both intentional and unintentional) loneliness and separation from everything else. I doubt there will ever be any pairing similar or even close to Spike/Buffy. Its one-of-a-kind pairing that had very nice build up, with those sparks flying to all sides from the very first moments they encountered each other.' Sam/Freddie: Sam and Freddie have always had a love/hate relationship. Even though in the early years, they teased and fought with one another, there was always that underlying attraction. Their fighting eventually lead to romance. They are the first and only couple on iCarly to have a long-lasting relationship, and to have exchanged 'I love you's'. They brought out the best in each other. Freddie helped Sam learn to be more responsible and respectful (or more respectful than Sam had been previously...). Sam helped Freddie by inspiring him to stand up for himself and even to be occasionally 'bad'. Either by computer hacking, sneaking out, or standing up to his mother. He also not only confirmed his relationship with Sam to his control-freak of a mother, he refused to be bribed into breaking up with her. Freddie remained loyal to Sam. They literally helped each other to grow and develop. Harry/Hermione: --Well, this is pretty much along the same lines as the other Ships I've listed. I tend to love ships that bring out the best in each other, helping each other to develop into a stronger person. I don't know where to even BEGIN with Harry & Hermione! They have been there for each other since DAY 1. Hermione has never cared about Harry's celebrity status. She loved him for his determination, courage, and skill. Harry defended Hermione whenever anyone would attack her, verbally or physically. Harry and Hermione would go so far as to use their own bodies as a shield to protect the other one when fatal harm was possible. They refused to stand down, they'd rather lay down their life than lose the other person. Hermione always gave Harry the strength and conviction to succeed in whatever terrible task was before him. She attended every single Quidditch match, showing her support even further...despite the fact that she didn't find the sport terribly interesting, and had a strong dilike of flying. During battles, they were always highly conscious of the other one's safety. What saddens me a bit, was the fact that these two weren't 'canon'. Like Eleven/Amy, I could see a great deal of self-restraint on both their parts. Always afraid to get too close or make the first move towards something more romantic. I strongly feel as though in both couples cases, it seems they held back for fear of losing the other person prematuraly due to the chaotic lives they lead. And usually, there was another person in their circle who was believed to be a potential romantic partner, which lead to further hesitation of admitting their true feelings. Harry and Hermione, like Amy/Eleven and Buffy/Spike could communicate easily (and OFTEN) simply by a look. They didn't always need words. They understood each other on a deep and intense level. Many times, when faced with a dilemma, Hermione's voice would be Harry's conscience, guiding him to do the right thing, no matter how difficult or annoying it proved to be at the time. Even though Hermione eventually became involved with Harry's friend, she still refused to let Harry go to his death alone. She, once again, would rather die with him, than live without him. I will defend this ship until my last breath, and then continue to ship it in the after life!

11) Why is your OTP your OTP? Oh jeez...there are some definite reasons why, but they're hard to put into words. The thing is, I've always had a lot of these homoerotic hurt/comfort daydreams about people I've made up, usually two characters with some kind of power differential--boss and employee, teacher and student, sorcerer and apprentice, you get the idea. The specifics vary, but the basic scenario always involves the more powerful individual behaving cruelly towards his subordinate and then comforting him through the ensuing breakdown. JD and Dr. Cox fit these roles so well that I've scarcely daydreamed about anyone else since I started watching the show. It's not that the scenario I described actually happens in canon, but that what does happen in canon gives me a perfect jumping-off point for all manner of delightful fantasies.
...That all sounds a lot weirder than it did in my head.
