“From Admiral Piett, to a Lieutenant Staff Officer” Had to customise a Piett to a staff imperial officer 3.75” figure, because the figures they have these days are just not ‘right’. First thing I did was to remove the moulded rank bars and code cylinders, and filled the gaps with putty. And then comes the repainting the base coat in black. Painted the belt buckle and the imperial code disc on the cap chrome. ‘Dyed” the hair dark, cuz I don’t have grey/brown hair. And added some light facial hair on it, as I’m not that clean shaven. Haha. Customised the code cylinders using brass rods and the rank bar using styrene strip. Had to customise glasses on it too. Because I wear them. Haha. Used clear plastic of 1mm-thickness for the lenses and brass rod for the frame.
