✿ Moira and David will often work together on the final draft of their essays, red pens ready to attack any mistakes they find. Each laying on a bed (normally on opposite sides of the room) they’ll lock themselves away, hiding in Moira’s otherwise empty room until each paper is fully marked up. It’s quieter this way - David only needs to worry about Moira’s thoughts and Moira enjoys the silent company. It reminds her of when she would sneak into her parent’s room at night and just listen to them breathe. 

✿ Of course, Moira can’t resist the urge to mess with David sometimes and as silence falls over the room, she’ll start to think of different songs and sing them in her mind until she hears him start to hum. She’s pretty sure he knows what she’s doing most of the time - it’s when she catches him off guard with rapid fire rap lyrics that she’ll dissolve into giggles on her bunk.
