The once black, now fair strawberry blonde strands of hair was sprawled against a certain gingers chest. His abnormally soft hands were tangled throughout the platinum curls that bounced off her head everytime she smiled. “How come you kept the blonde?” He smiled, pushing a single hair that fell over her indigo starlit irises and the crimp-like eyelashes that hung off her eyelids. Her coral lips morphed into a soft smile.
“I guess I liked it. Since, you dyed it afterall and you have the best ‘style’ of anyone here in the southside by a longshot. Don’t know how you managed to fall for my brother anyways with how he looks.” She pursed her lips into the thin fabric that coated Ian’s chest.
Ian felt a pang of longing, the second Mandy brang up her brother. The man who could easily break his heart or mend it back together, the man who’s eyes lit up everytime Ian even raised his lips higher then his resting bitchface. Mandy acknowledged the twitch that left Ian’s finger once she even murmured the word ‘brother.’
“Ian?” Mandy whispered, tangling her fingers into his and closing her dull blue eyes. “Yes, Mands?” He replied, shifting comfortably to accomodate the postion they laid in. “What did you like about my brother? Why was he more special, then some other guy? Do you miss him?” Mandy mumbled, lifting her eyelids and fixating her ocean-like gaze on the redhead. “One question at a time, Amanda.” Ian chuckled painfully, ruffling her dirty blonde hair.
“Well, in correlation to the first question.. I loved Mickey. I didn’t like him. Aside from the point, I loved Mickey because of how.. When he smiled, how his pale star like freckles would gravitate to his eyelids. And how his eyes would light up like a million supernovas when he saw me smile. Or, how he.. sacrificed everything in order to help me. I mean, he came out for me. In front of Terry. I feel bad, for leaving him there. In prison, with the biggest lie that I’ve ever stated in my life. That I wasn’t going to wait for him. Fuck, 8 years is a damn long time. But, I’ll always wait for Mickey. Forever. I love him, Mandy. I really do.” Ian’s voice raised an octave higher when he finished.
He really needed to see Mickey. He missed him, a whole fuck ton. He felt Mandy’s slim arms wrap around Ian for comfort as she nuzzled her nose into his neck. “Mickey isn’t that shitty. Your family gives him a bad rep.” Mandy murmured, grazin* her thumb over Ian’s cheek. Ian chuckled painfully “I can’t believe I broke up with him. God.”
“He’s special to me. So fucking special.” Ian mumbled, a hot puddle of rage boiled in him. He hates himself for hurting Mickey. So fucking much.
“Ian, calm down. Your boiling warm.” Mandy sighed, sitting up.
“Aside from Mickey, how come you fell for my piece of shit brother?” Ian smiled, panicking a little less. She chuckled, raising a shaky hand to her messy bangs. “He’s a real charmer. Any girl and/or guy in a 50 mile radius would come down with the hots for a guy like Lip. Wish I could say I can see an endgame with him. He’s always gonna praise Karen as his true soulmate.” Mandy sighed.
“It’d be funny to see you in a fancy ass wedding dress.” Ian laughed. Mandy hit him in the arm playfully “Dick.”
“You are what you suck.” Ian shrugged and Mandy just laughed. “We have each other, who needs anyone else when I have you around me?” She smiled softly and Ian wrapped his arms around her. “True.”
