Powers & Weaknesses 

+ DyrSpirit walking

The Dyrspirit is able to share the mind of their companion at any time. Their own body will be motionless at the time they are switched. 

+ Animal traits

Because the DyrSpirit spends time being an animal they are prone to take over animals of their companion over time. These are habits or personality traits, not powers (so a Dyrspirit who has a bear as their companion wouldn’t suddenly be stronger). 

- Absentminded

Due to their mind switching a lot, the DyrSpirit can be absentminded and forgetful. 

- Dislike of humans and other humanoids

Seeing the world through the eyes of animals changes a person- making it hard for them to see humanity and other humanoids the same as they once did. This is often something that grows over time. 

- Dependency

The companion and the human will need to be close to one another, and see each other often or they will get anxious and experience symptoms of depression.

The Dyrspi...

A DyrSpirit (also known as a DyrSpi) is a human that was born with their soul or spirit entwined with an animal (excluding all invertebrates with the exception of the snail ) who shares their birthday. While the DyrSpi might seem similar to a were-creature they are different because they can not become an animal but take over the animal’s body. 

The animal, known as their companion, will live as long or as short as the DyrSpi. Allowing animals who otherwise would live short lives to live longer and vice versa. The companion and the human need to be close to one another at all times or will get very distressed.

Dyrspi are born all over the world but most commonly found in America and Canada, though there have been mentions of Dyrspi communities in Australia and Alaska as well. In Asia and Europe they are significantly more rare. 

It is unknown where the DyrSpi originally come from but they are born from DyrSpi parent(s). When only one of the parents is a DyrSpi there is a 50% chance of the child being a DyrSpi as well. 

The DyrSpi looks human, however, when they are connected to their companion, their eyes will mimic the eyes of their companion. The companion in turn will have human eyes.

Powers

Cloud creation & flying

Cloud mimicry (the creatures however do not have a mind of their own and are temporary puppets of the creator, as long as they’re focused on the creation).

Cloud-form (can float)

Sometimes when you look at a cloud and it looks like a creature, it is! The Cloudlings are a race of creatures that were given life by the tears of Gods. Rumors say most are from the tears of Yu Shi, the Chinese rain God and Indra, the Hindu storm God (though neither will confirm nor deny this).

Cloudlings usually live together in cloud cities (two times left from Heaven INC. is the biggest cloud city in the Earthly realm), big cities that are only accessible to cloudlings, sun sprites, moonsprites and cupids (the souls of angels are too heavy and therefor they would fall right through the cloudling cities).

Sometimes Cloudlings will come down to Earth or other realms to live amongst the people. Interestingly enough they do seem to have the ability to have children with other races even though they have such a airy existence.

How does one identify a Cloudling? First of all their hair always looks like some form of clouds, it also moves and changes to their moods and thoughts to the point of having tiny imaginary birds flying around their heads of perhaps even an air balloon! Their skins come in all colours one would find on Earth but always have a blue, purple or pink sheen to it. Cloudlings are prone to having large eyes, large ears (rounded) and while their apparent body mass varies are always very light weight.

In cloudform, a Cloudling will float up and dance through the skies. They are no longer corporeal and can not hold items or people (and people or items just fall through them, much like apparitions).

Memories made in their cloud-form are hazy in their corporeal form. Memories made in their corporeal form are hazy in their cloud form.

One should note that Cloudlings are not amongst the most intelligent of creatures, however we should not judge them for it. What they lack in intelligence they make up in kindness and forgiveness.

Lifespan: imaginary Powergroup two Magically gifted Realm of origin: The Boogey realm in between the realm of mirrors and shadows

Powers

Major Illusion powers

Kidnapping 

Realm Jumping (they are able to peek into the shadow and mirror realms, as well as the realms of imaginary friends and chesires)

Dematerializing

The Boogey are known around the world as child-stealers, as those that kidnap and eat young humanoids- however they are creatures that solely can do harm when someone did wrong. While most Boogey tend to kidnap the children (or others, it is not limited to children) that did wrong and either consume them (it isn’t cannibalism, they ain’t human) or keep them in their nightmarish world that exists between the realm of mirrors and shadows, there are also Boogey that protect children from under their beds because the true horrors are those in the world of man. 

The Boogey have trouble with bright light sources and will enjoy dark spaces (and wear sunglasses outside), enjoying small spaces and often suffering from agorophobia (hence their habit of residing under beds and within closets).

Powers

Being human Humans are the dominant species on Earth, maybe only outdone by spirits, and rule the cities in the sunlight (or at least think they do). They are often seen as lower life forms but they have the potential to be anything they want. They are not hindered by their mere existence to excel in this world

Changing  Humans can change into a lot of races. Humans can become exorcists, cyborgs, spirits, vampires, hunters, poltergeists, two-seventies, magical engineers or were-creatures. They create chesires or imaginary friends, maybe even androids, charta or musica’s.

Humans are what they are, humans but when they come into contact with the supernatural world often through family, friends or foes they can attend the academy. Will they remain human or find something that will change them forever?

Powers

Parental gift:  The demigods have one main gift from their parent, this is the strongest power the demigod has.

Secondary powers: The secondary powers are related to the parent and are less powerful than the main power.

Parental guidance Demigods can talk to their parents for guidance, but only if the parent is interested. They never meet their Godly parents as a rule but through this power they can still ask for some help.

Demigods are the children of a God and another race. This means that the demigod children are all very different depending on whom their Godly parent is. If you are the child of Seth you might have a main power of storm and destruction, but if you call Ayida your mother you might have have powers of light, rainbows and fertility. 

The demigods have no idea how many siblings they have and in the end they usually only find out they are demigods later if their non-Godly parent doesn’t tell them.

Powers

Two main powers:  Arch angels have two major powers which can go from elemental magic to mind powers.

Secondary powers: Arch angels have secondary powers that usually tie in with the first main powers

Godly Powers Arch Angels are emitting holy energy by default, influencing those around them. As they get angry or get ready to fight they might also show angelic features like light and their true form.

True form While some angels are just the run of the mill two-legged, humanoid angels in their true form. Others look different like gigantic golden wheels with eyes, having multiple faces or other terrifying features (’do not be afraid’ is a line uttered often because an arch angel can be pretty scary).

Power of Reverence: Through others believing in the arch angel it’s power grows as people believe in them, pray to them and in continuation put their faith in them. 

Fate of mortals: Due to their power the arch angel feels responsible for the fate of mortals, they can see the different fates someone can get.

The arch angel is a continuation of the angel race, after playing a demon for eighteen months they can transform into an arch angel. The more powerful form of being and the strongest one present in IA canon.

The arch angel is a pure and holy creature that can live anywhere but is usually found near locations that are pure and holy. The arch angel is immensely powerful and is often involved in organizations that do good, however they can also be arrogant and vain. 

Next to being very powerful, the arch angel gains strength as more and more mortals rely on them for guidance. They are the guides that people turn to and even have religious visions of. Some arch angels appear in visions of mortals or can mold reality to give signs (crying statues, showing animals that represent special meaning, etc). 

ul, the arch demon is a creature that gains strength from being believed in or being summoned by mere mortals. By default they are creatures that mortals turn to when they are summoning, some demons can even come through Ouija boards.

Due to the blessed energy of their soul, the arch angel suffers near cursed ground as well, however it takes a very strong demonic presence or ritual to actually make a difference. However, while the arch angel is a creature of light, they can be found socializing with arch demons. Perhaps this is seen as odd but due to their similar power the arch demons and arch angels often feel connected to each other as they are rare and the only ones with similar powers.

Demonic powers Arch Demons are emitting dark energy by default, influencing those around them. As they get angry or get ready to fight they might also show demonic features like horns or tails.

Fate of mortals: Due to their power the arch demon feels responsible for the fate of mortals (or responsible for the demise of the souls), they can see the different fates someone can get.
