i feel comfortable saying this now but one of the problems i had w mac finds his pride when it first aired was with the way it sort of closed the door on the mac and luther relationship. in his previous appearances luthers got a complicated relationship w not only his son but his sexuality but mfhp seemed to be depict him as a one dimensional homophobe and with his exit i was worried we would never see them expand on that or explore the character again, so im glad to see i was wrong and very excited for what s18 has in store ☝️☝️
