Mahanta and her team from the Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) have developed a novel computational model aimed at improving the early detection of cervical cancer. This model, designed to identify cervical dysplasia—an early indicator of cancer—demonstrates high accuracy and efficiency, which is crucial for timely diagnosis and treatment.
