I believe Garry exchanged his rose for Ib’s because he wouldn’t be able to live with himself if he didn’t and let someone as young and innocent as Ib die, and would have done the same for Mary before she went crazy.

I feel like the hands that reach out for you on the edges of the walls represent Ib trying to reach back to reality.

I have an older brother that I’m not close with and I always wished he would treat me the way Garry treats Ib; I’ve always idolized the way they get along.

I’ve always had this theory that Garry is really Guertena’s grandson, and before anyone says there’s no evidence of Guertena’s family being involved in the gallery, the description in the book said that the Juggler painting was inspired by a time Guertena and his grandson went to a circus. It’s just a thought though, as there really isn’t much evidence besides that.
Confessor
My headcanon is that after the “Forgotten Portrait” ending Ib grows up to be a mad artist, like Guertena, and tries to bring Garry, who she subconsciously remembers, back to life through her art, creating another Fabricated World.
Confessor
I believe the golddigger, on whom Guertena based his Red Lady, was either Ib’s mother or Ib’s grandmother (depending on when Guertena lived) and that the plot of the game was the attempt of Guertena’s spirit to take his revenge on the woman who had used him by taking away her descendant.

I believe that ‘Welcome To the World of Guertena’ is the ending that everyone has been asking for in disguise.
