#ib glitch

I managed to glitch Ib. My life is now complete.

About Ib's glicth, I tried plenty of times but I can't glitch it. I was wondering, which version do you play? Mine is 1.05, maybe it's fixed or something. Also, I'm trying with the Italian version of the game, maybe it's why it doesn't work?

Mine is also 1.05! 

I don’t know whether it would be fixed in translated versions because I don’t actually know what makes games glitch, but I don’t think that would make a difference if the only thing the translator changed was the text files. 

I’ve only been able to do it once; I tried again later because I didn’t get screenshots of some really funny Garry dialogue and wanted to try to do that (he hears his own voice from inside the room). The timing is very difficult and I was lucky to get it that first time in maybe under a dozen tries. I saved my glitched file close to the beginning of the glitch and kept it, so I could keep playing it later, which is how I keep getting screenshots.

You mean the glitch?

You have to run out of the doll room right exactly as your time runs out, and the game will get confused whether you won or lost the challenge.

From then on, Ib’s sprite disappears, and instead, she’s replaced with another character, depending on where you are in the game.

Right here, I’m playing as Garry. As you can see, I’ve still got his blue rose. (As for taking this particular screenshot… I couldn’t resist.)

To play as Mary, you then replay the game on the same save file. (Don’t press ‘New Game’.) You’ll start out with Ib’s parents in the art gallery… 

And the adventure begins! 

You can only play up through the red section, because after you help Garry, a deleted scene will play with Garry talking to Ib, and then an error won’t let you move past that point.

A bit creepy...

I'm a bit disturbed that my music isn't back to normal when I'm not playing the glitched file anymore... The toy box music stops and then speeds up before playing the rest of the tune, and then repeats. Did it always sound like that, I wonder? I can't remember...

The most hilarious Ib glitch ever. 

As far as I know, I'm only the second person to do this! The first person was iamtheuberlorax.
