Well guys, it’s starting to get serious. IB exams start in two weeks, and Spanish B SL (my level) exams are May 15 and 16. Just a month from now!

So, because the studyblr and langblr communities are all about sharing and helping each other learn, here is just some of the numerous vocabulary words and phrases I have collected in preparation for the Spanish B SL Paper 1 and Paper 2 IB exams I hope you find it useful. So I'm going into the IB program next year, would having a job while being in band, and the IB be possible? I would love to work but I know there is a lot of studying and homework with this program and i was wondering if you could give any advice on it. If not thanks for reading this!

I would say that it is definitely doable, but it all depends on what your schedule is like and how much support you are able to get from your teachers. 

Band is likely a time consuming commitment, and in IB you will find that weekends are very important for catching up and recharging, especially if you are like me and struggling to keep up with all of your commitments. 

I think my advice would be to breakdown your week into the hours you spend in school, doing work, and practicing/participating in band. See if you have enough free hours to cover academic/personal emergencies, get proper sleep, and some personal time to recharge. If you still realistically have more than 4 hours left over on weekends, then you will probably be able to handle a part-time weekend job! 

You know yourself best however, don’t feel like you have to spend all of your time working (whether academically or at a job) in order to succeed! I’m waiting till after I graduate in November to start working because I definitely don’t think I can handle it.
