Don't let frustration get to you
Something I’ve learnt is very important when studying is to listen to your body and your mind. If you feel like you’ve got a lot of energy, then go for a run. If you can’t sit down and study do something else. Or you will get frustrated.
Same goes for when you feel like you don’t understand - don’t let it get to you. Take a break and then start over. It’s not impossible. It’s never impossible.
Frustration is what many times keeps me from studying well. I feel like I have too much energy to sit still, and I get frustrated.
Don’t let that happen to you. Listen to yourself and go from there.

Stay focused and productive. It will be worth it.
25/5 method
I am currently studying for my chemistry test tomorrow, along with some poetry analyzing for Swedish literature. I have been sitting like this for a couple of hours now. Want to know how I keep my motivation and every up? Well it's easy. I use the method where I study for 25 minutes before resting for 5. 1. Put your phone in flight mode and set an alarm for 25 minutes. 2. Study during the 25 minutes. Don't eat. 3. When 25 minutes have passed you're allowed to eat, walk around, check your phone - do whatever you want for 5 minutes. 4. Start over again. A research showed that 25 minutes is the maximum amount of time you can spend studying and actually keep focus. A 5 minute break is then enough before you can study for 25 minutes again. I love this method. Because 25 minutes is rather short and so I know I only have to focus and study for 25 minutes before I can take a break. I strongly recommend this. It makes it possible to study for hours without getting too tired or unfocused. Good luck on your studying!
