SOoo i start with the fugliest goddamn sketch imaginable . . . im very heavy handed and honestly probs gonna stay that way but i just need the shapes anatomy guide lined and eye lines . . . i usually use a lighter color then my lining pen which will come later. it mimics pencil in my eyes so its easier to shirk off later.
Lmfao after lining and readjusting the sketches over and over ( i might do it like 3 times till im satisfied till i feel its perfect!) here is the line+ sketch and the lines by themselves. The gold and burgandy lines are basically corrections of sketches and dont get lost lining over the sketches i dont want
i already adjusted the subjects on the sheet so they have more room to breathe
Now after years and years of picking i have laid down my flats. usually with any other pics i pic my colors sort of according to w/e mood im feelin or limit palete it. but with my fashion stuff i want the mood and cut of the clothes to align perfectly just the way i want, literally spent probs over 4 hrs picking a sort of rich color scheme yet still irken palete perfect for me zim
I also endd up changing the shoes on the bottom design becaauuuse i didnt fit with me vision of what i wanted at first . . . . i wanted 3 diffrent looks: a clean winter work look, a dirty casual night out and elegant rich party look.
So i put in details and shading now along with makeup for the first 2 since i cant do the full effcet for the 3rd look (my twin suggested holographic face jewelry and i need a background for that . . . but i loooveeeee them all so far)
The face jewelry thing came out the fact that face piercings and small holes would heal quickly once taken out with an irken quick healing factor we thought about antennae jewelry but those sort of seem impractical for one work look, too fancy for casual night out and the pose for the fanciest look sort of makes it not good. also idk, antennae jewelry is so played out tbh its used so much. i feel like it’d be sort of like brooches? are viewed? you can put a new twist on them but old ppl wear that stuff.
i put in sort of basic backgrounds and did the holographic accents with overlay and lumonosity on dif layers in sai. i wanted each back ground to complement each look and its basic purpose but not so complicated it detracted from the main subject me. Generally i just pulled colors from the outfits with a mood to complimet and sort of layered it with the grays to ass a cobboIed instant photo shoot thing. holograph backgrounds. gave some cool eye lashes sparkles and vwalah im fuking done!
